1. Parent Information Meeting January 25, 2012 7:00pm

2.  Luggage:  Each student will be allowed one (1) checked bag, and one (1) carry-on bag.  Checked Bags:  Must be brought to school Tuesday – March 6 th  Checked bags must be brought to auditorium before 7:30am or between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm  Checked bags will be thoroughly searched by chaperones.  Bags over 50 pounds may be charged an additional fee by Southwest airlines. This would be the student’s individual responsibility.  Inappropriate Items found in luggage may be cause for removal from the trip.

3.  Luggage (cont’d):  Carry-On Bags  Carry-On bags must be brought in before school on Wednesday, March 7 th.  Carry-On bags will be searched by chaperones AND TSA.  Please familiarize yourself with TSA carry-on regulations  i.e. Liquids – 3oz, etc (look on packet)  Tips for Carry-On  Change of Clothes, Toothbrush, etc  Bathing Suit (Appropriate for school function)

4.  Photo ID is a must---NYS Driver’s License or School ID.  Class T-Shirt.  Comfortable Sneakers – Lots of Walking and No Whining Allowed!  Jacket/Sweatshirt  March Temperatures in Florida can be anywhere from 50 to 85 degrees.  Bathing Suit for pool, again School Appropriate!  Spending $$  Some Meals are not pre-paid  Souveniers, etc.

5.  Arrive to School ON-TIME  Flight 1  Students leave school approximately 8:15-8:30am  Flight #1163 Departs at 11:35  Flight 2  Students leave school approximately 1:00pm  Flight #3043 Departs at 4:30  No Jokes At Security!  Anyone detained by TSA will be left behind : )

6.  Arrive in Orlando  Coach Bus Transportation  Check in to Disney’s All Star Movies Resort  Dinner on Your Own  Time to Explore Hotel and Pool

7.  Park Ticket and Use Your Universal Meal Voucher  Park Hours are 9am-7pm

8.  Wear your Blue Shirt for Group Photo in Morning in Front Of Castle  Character Lunch –  11:30 @ Crystal Palace  DO NOT BE LATE  Epcot Mid Afternoon – Monorail Between Parks  Make Reservations for Dinner  Light Show  Meet at the Exit after the Light Show

9.  Entire Day at Hollywood Studios  Sign-Up to be the “Next American Idol”  Group Dinner/Show  Fantasmic Private Balcony 6:30pm  Back to Hotel and Pack

10.  Wake- Up Early!  Bring Checked Luggage to SWA Counter at Hotel.  We will distribute a schedule.  Arrive at Animal Kingdom, Walk Directly to Everest Roller Coaster with Mr. Grable.  Groups Will Depart Animal Kingdom at Different Times Depending on Flight.

11.  Flight 1  Depart Hotel approximately 1:15 pm.  Flight # 2149 arrives in Islip at 7:15 pm.  Flight 2  Depart Hotel approximately 4:00 pm.  Flight #887 arrives in Islip at 10:55 pm.  Parents must pick up students at airport.  MAKE SURE YOU ARE ON TIME TO SCHOOL MONDAY MORNING!!!!!
