WALT: Recognise words for clothes in French and be able to describe them and give opinions. WILF: An accurate description of clothes with correct “agreements” for level 3. To be able to say what colour suits me for level 4.

Write each item of clothing in French and English. Use the pictures to help you work out the meaning.

Next, you need to add the colour to each item of clothing, but there are a few things to remember… REMEMBER: The colour comes AFTER the item of clothing REMEMBER: The colour comes AFTER the item of clothing REMEMBER: The colour must AGREE with the item of clothing Masculine/ Feminine Singular / plural REMEMBER: The colour must AGREE with the item of clothing Masculine/ Feminine Singular / plural We first learnt how to describe things with colours when we learnt about pets. Read the texts below and work out which t-shirt would suit each person according to their preference.

Write a paragraph in French giving details about your favourite colours. Use the blue box to help. Including an opinion = level 3 Including a justification (because) = level 4
