Positions Goalie – Defends the goal. Defenders – Keep other team from scoring. Mid-Field – Play both offense and defense. Offense – Score goals.

Rules of the Game Eleven players from each team play at one time. One goal equals one point. No time outs. The game has two thirty minute halves.

Rules of the Game A kick off starts the game. If the ball goes out of bounds past the goal line, then the team that did not kick it out gets a corner kick in the corner arc.

Rules of the Game If the offense shoots and the ball goes out past the goal line the defense get a goal kick. The goalie will punt the ball after he or she makes a save. When the ball goes out of bounds on the touchline, the opposite team will throw the ball in over their head. This is called a throw-in.

Fouls A yellow card is given after an intentional foul. Two will result in suspension from the game.

Fouls A red card indicates a intentional and more serious foul. One red card results in suspension from the game.

Fouls A less serious foul will result in a direct or indirect kick but no yellow or red card will be given. A penalty kick comes after a foul in the goal box. Only the goalie can defend this shot.

Uniform A jersey and shorts are worn along with shin guards and cleats.

Referees There is one center referee. He is the main referee. There are two line judges that call when the ball goes out of bounds or when a person is off sides.
