NAFSMA Concerns with Wetlands Guidance Process Doesn’t Clarify the Issues Issues Specific to Flood Risk and Stormwater Management – basins, swales and ditches New Ecological Biological Connection Will Expand jurisdiction over “adjacent” wetlands. Operations and Maintenance of Flood Control Facilities – Does nothing to address this issue or provide clarity on this critical public safety issue. Clarification of the examption for flood conrtol facilities O&M – Need longer permits (10 years)
