O NE T EAM - T HREE P ROGRAM O FFERINGS 7 Development Program Must successfully complete a tryout to be accepted into the Development Program Must aspire to become part of one of the Competition Programs Coaching will focus on efficient movements and parallel skiing with emphasis on racing At least seven years old by December 1 st. Must be independent on the mountain Must be accompanied by a parent/responsible adult, during on snow practice, if under eight years of age Parallel turns on all Blue Slopes at Timberline Skiers are matched with a coach based on other skiers with similar skills and abilities Approximate 8 – 12 racer class size Training day 8:00 am to Noon, Saturday, Sunday and select Holidays Automatic enrollment into NASTAR Feeder

O NE T EAM – T HREE P ROGRAMS 8 Must successfully complete a tryout to be accepted into Home Program Dedicated & more experienced coaching staff Approximate 6 – 8 racer class size Training day 8:00 – Noon, Saturday, Sunday and select Holidays Film review one Saturday or Sunday a month (Film review 12:00 – 12:45 pm) Automatic enrollment in NASTAR Prepare racers for Locals Cup, Governors Cup, Wendy’s Cup and TRT hosted SARA races Qualified racers, travel to NASTAR Championships (parent of racer funded). Must successfully complete a tryout to be accepted into Travel Program Dedicated coaches with personal race experience Approximate 3 – 5 racer class size Training day 8:00 – Noon, Saturday, Sunday and select Holidays Film review 12:00 – 12:45, Saturday or Sunday and select Holidays Mandatory travel to TRT selected SARA Races and/or Championships SARA races supported by two TRT Competition Coaches Automatic enrollment in NASTAR Qualified racers, travel to Championships/Finals (parent of racer funded) Travel Home Race Technique Two Competition Programs

D ATES TO R EMEMBER USSA Renewal Registration Forms & Dues are due 12/01/14 o Per family building fee $300 o Development Team dues = $640 o Competitive Home Team dues = $750 o Competitive Travel Team dues = $900 TRT Holiday Race Camp o 12/26 – 12/31 and 01/02 – 01/04 o Start times 12/26 – Noon – 4:00 All other days 8:00 – Noon or 9:00 – 1:00. Time depends on T4SR opening schedule Film review time TBD o 12/27 Parent Meeting Start time 3:00 TRT Hosted SARA Race o 01/24 – 01/25 U10 – U14 Race o We need a volunteer for Race Secretary and Backup Timer
