3. Definition Apostle: a special messenger of Jesus Christ; a person to whom Jesus delegated authority for certain tasks. Apostolic: Pertaining to the twelve apostles (Do not forget Jesus and Paul) or the faith, teaching, and practice of these apostles. The word Apostolic itself does not appear in the Bible.
