Defense Research Facilities R&D capabilities coupled with the regions large concentration of defense contractors provide a rich resource for mission area solutions Brown, URI, UCONN, Harvard, Tufts, and UMASS all provide: high tech defense technology research advanced degrees and fellowships for mid-career officers of all military branches non-technical military education in defense business management, policy formulation and national security affairs and serve our allied armed forces
