6. Manchester / Blackpool Trip Spaces are available for this trip. The total cost is £293. The trip will be away Tuesday28th – Thursday 30 th June. If you want to go, hand in a £30 deposit to Miss Macgregor (106) or Mr Rogers (121) by Wednesday 7 th October.

10. S1-6 Hockey club! Mr Sands and Miss Hume will be coaching a hockey club on Tuesday 3:45-5pm on the astro. Girls and boys, all ages and abilities welcome! Come along after school on Tuesday in your PE kit with shin guards and hockey sticks if you have them! We will be entering tournaments against other schools very soon. If you want a chance to represent your school you MUST attend trainings.

11. Dance Camp There are spaces available for the Lasswade High School Dance Camp. Date: 18 th – 20 th March 2016 If you are interested in going on this trip please see Miss Low in the PE department ASAP.

12. S1 Dance for Fun lunch club Monday 5 th October Please come to short meeting at break time (10:20) in Room 209 if you intend to come at lunch (new and previous attendees) This week at 1:15-1:30 in Dance Studio A with Miss McCardle Spanish, Latin, Zumba moves!! Come along and dance for fun!!!

14. Ruts – Build a Bike We're offering six young people aged 14-19 years old who are residents of Midlothian the chance to build their own bicycle from scratch. The best part is they'll get to keep the bicycle after the course! We are asking young people to write 50 words to explain why they are the best choice for a place on the course. We will be looking for young people to explain why they are interested in the course and how they plan to use the bike after they complete the course. Once they've written their entry they should send it to clefix@ruts.org.uk Closing date for entries is Wednesday 7th October We're looking for young people who would really benefit from the experience and use the bike they build after the programme. It will be a five day course run from Monday 12th October - Friday 16th October.
