13 Section 3 Culture Klatch  After college I wanted to work in a job that I loved and where I could help people. I quickly discovered that I love to travel. I like reading and learning about exotic locales, and I enjoy meeting new people from different towns and even different countries. I decided to become a travel agent so I could help others experience the joy of traveling.  As travel agent I work hard helping people plan their travel itineraries. I also make sure that I help my customers get the biggest bang for their buck. Because I help them save money and plan wonderful vacations, my customers return again and again.

14 Section 3 Culture Klatch  Many of my customers want to go places where they have never been before. It is important to explain everything about the destination, which means that I have to constantly read about the locations that I recommend, so that I can provide a high level of service to them. Planning a vacation can be stressful for my customers, so as their travel agent it is important that I am polite, conscientious, and patient with my customers at all times. But most importantly, I must always be respectful of their wishes. I love being a travel agent and could not imagine ever working at another job.
