2 Start of Class While I take attendance: –Read the Lab Rules handout (you picked it up when you walked in) –Pass forward your “Mr. Cooke’s Student Information Sheet.” People on the front of the rows will put them in the box.

3 Laboratory Rules Give an example of why it is a rule. HOMEWORK: Return the laboratory rules with a parent signature, your signature, and your name printed legibly.

4 Notecard Front (lined side): Describe something you feel strongly about. This assignment assesses your writing skills. Do your best to prove that you can communicate through writing.

5 Notecard Front (lined side): Describe something you feel strongly about. Keep in mind: –Complete sentences –Grammar –Spelling –Punctuation –PROOFREAD! (Read it to yourself before turning it in.)

7 Chemistry/Physics A-Z Groups of approximately 4 students. Your group will be assigned a group of letters from the alphabet. Write words/terms related to chemistry/physics that start with those letters. Come up with as many words as possible. Be creative. We will combine the lists as a class.
