There are various health myths and many have become accepted as fact over the years Why do these myths get started Many could have started when a parent told a child something to get them to behave a certain way Others may have started from the false assumption of a cause and effect relationship Various Myths

The two websites we have as sources in the lesson list various myths they are: Don’t cut off the bread crust it is full of vitamins If you go out with wet hair, you’ll catch a cold If you cross your eyes, they’ll stay that way You should feed a cold and starve a fever Gum stays in your stomach for 7 years An apple a day keeps the doctor away You lose 75% of your head through your head Have someone startle you to get rid of hiccups What are some myths?
