1. Using Library 2 Go

2. SET UP: What you need to download onto your computer Windows Media Player. Most computers have Window Media Player already and can be found in the start tab under programs. Go to this website to download if not and click download now: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/11/d efault.aspx http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/11/d efault.aspx

3. SET UP: What you need to download on your computer. Overdrive Media Console: (you will only have to do these steps once) 1.Go to library2go.com. 2. Half way down, on the left you will see a box for OverdriveMedia.Click on it for download. See next slide for picture. 3. A pop up window will walk you through the steps. 4. You can now find this on your desktop.

5. Activate: Overdrive Consonle needs a seurtiy check through Windows Media player before downloading books. 1. Open up Overdrive Console from desktop. 2. Click on Tools 3. Click on Windows Media Player Security Upgrade.

6. 4. Click OK on popup window.

7. 5. Click YES on next pop up window.

8. 6. Click PLAY on popup window

9. Downloading the Books. Now you are ready to find some books. Search through the books found on library2go.com 1. Find a book you want. Make sure it is in WMA or MP3 format. 2. Click on Add 2Go Cart. (if the book is unavailable it will say Add to wish list.)

10. Downloading the Books. 3. You can coutintue looking now or find more books. You can check out 6 at time. 4. Click PRODUCE TO CHECKOUT when ready. 5. Find Jackson County Library in the drop down menu. 6. Enter the number found under the barcode found on your library card. 7. Click YES on agreement. 8. Click CONFRIM CHECKOUT

11. 9. Click Download They will download into a file in MY DOCUMENTS called download. Unless you have changed where downloads go on your computer.

12. 10. Open Overdrive Media Console. 11. Go to FILE then OPEN and find the book you just downloaded. 12. Press OK

13. 12. Click OK again. You Now ready to put the book on the MP3 Player.

14. Putting Book onto MP3 Player 1. Plug in Player 2. Have Overdrive Console open 3. Click on the book you want so it is highlighted. 4. Click on Transfer 5. The popup window will guide you through the next steps.
