Too many Christians live joyless lives, and they don’t know why.
“Spiritual Disciplines” is the usual answer – you need to go on a diet of constant devotions, singing, and prayer. Yes, these can contribute to joy. But it’s also possible to be engaged in the “Spiritual Disciplines” with a joyless heart, and it simply doesn’t change.
