IN CHRIST ALONE
7
In Christ alone my hope is found He is my light my strength my song This Cornerstone this solid Ground Firm through the fiercest drought and storm What heights of love what depths of peace When fears are stilled when strivings cease My Comforter my All in All Here in the love of Christ I stand
8
In Christ alone who took on flesh Fullness of God in helpless babe This gift of love and righteousness Scorned by the ones He came to save Till on that cross as Jesus died The wrath of God was satisfied For every sin on Him was laid Here in the death of Christ I live
9
There in the ground His body lay Light of the world by darkness slain Then bursting forth in glorious Day Up from the grave He rose again And as He stands in victory Sin's curse has lost its grip on me For I am His and He is mine Bought with the precious blood of Christ
10
No guilt in life no fear in death This is the power of Christ in me From life's first cry to final breath Jesus commands my destiny No power of hell no scheme of man Can ever pluck me from His hand Till He returns or calls me home Here in the power of Christ I'll stand. P: When our faith becomes shaky and we fall into a deep trough of doubts and anxieties, Lord have mercy. C: Lord have mercy and rescue us all. P: When our hope and joy lapse and we get bogged down in the swamp of despondency, Christ have mercy. C: Christ have mercy and rescue us all.
13
P: When our hearts grow cold towards the rights and needs of others and apathy settles in like a wintry fog, Lord have mercy. C: Lord have mercy and heal us all... P: When our minds become confused by the Babel of the world’s many religious voices, and we lapse into a spiritual cynicism, Christ have mercy. C: Christ have mercy and heal us all
14
P: Heavenly Father, open our hearts to be honest and sincere in our confession of sin and guilt, make us ready to walk in your way and live a life of forgiveness in Jesus Christ our Saviour, Friend, and Lord. C: Amen
15
P: As a servant of the Word, I announce the grace of God to all of you. On behalf of my Lord Jesus Christ, and by his command I forgive the sins of all of you who repent and believe, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. C: Amen.

Psalm 66:8-20
17
Praise our God, all peoples, let the sound of his praise be heard; he has preserved our lives and kept our feet from slipping. For you, God, tested us; you refined us like silver. You brought us into prison and laid burdens on our backs.
18
You let people ride over our heads; we went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance.
19
I will come to your temple with burnt offerings and fulfill my vows to you— vows my lips promised and my mouth spoke when I was in trouble. I will sacrifice fat animals to you and an offering of rams; I will offer bulls and goats.
20
Come and hear, all you who fear God; let me tell you what he has done for me. I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue. If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened; but God has surely listened and has heard my prayer.
21
Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me! Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forevermore. Amen.

26
We confess our faith I believe in God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried.
27
He descended into hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God, the Father almighty, from thence he will come to judge the living and the dead.
28
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

THIS KINGDOM Words and music: Geoff Bullock
39
Jesus, God's righteousness revealed, the Son of man, the Son of God, his kingdom comes. Jesus, redemption's sacrifice now glorified, now justified, his kingdom comes.
40
And this kingdom will know no end and its glory shall know no bounds, for the majesty and power of this kingdom's king has come. And this kingdom's reign and this kingdom's rule and this kingdom's power and authority – Jesus, God's righteousness revealed.
41
Jesus, the expression of God's love, the grace of God, the word of God revealed to us; Jesus, God's holiness displayed, now glorified, now justified, his kingdom comes.
42
And this kingdom will know no end and its glory shall know no bounds, for the majesty and power of this kingdom's king has come. And this kingdom's reign and this kingdom's rule and this kingdom's power and authority – Jesus, God's righteousness revealed.

HERE I AM, LORD (296) 1.I, the Lord of sea and sky, I have heard my people cry. All who dwell in dark and sin my hand will save. I who made the stars of night, I will make their darkness bright. Who will bear my light on them? Whom shall I send?
66
Here I am, Lord; is it I, Lord? I have heard you calling in the night; I will go, Lord, if you lead me. I will hold your people in my heart.
67
2.I, the Lord of snow and rain, I have borne my people’s pain. I have wept for love of them. They turn away. I will break their hearts of stone, Give them hearts for love alone. I will speak my word to them. Whom shall I send?
68
Here I am, Lord; is it I, Lord? I have heard you calling in the night; I will go, Lord, if you lead me. I will hold your people in my heart.
69
3.I, the Lord of wind and flame, I will tend the poor and lame. I will set a feast for them. My hand will save. Finest bread I will provide Till their hearts are satisfied. I will give my life to them. Whom shall I send?
