Summary ProblemExceedence RateResponsible Organization Action Upper Provo River and Jordanelle Reservoir Big Dutch Pete Hollow Below Mayflower - High Heavy Metals Concentrations Cadmium – 60% US Bureau of ReclamationStandards for cadmium and zinc were exceeded 60% and 100% of the time. This is drainage from mines in the area and consistently flows three (3) to five (5) cfs throughout the year into Jordanelle Reservoir. Zinc – 100% Provo River at Hailstone - High Total Suspended Solids Concentrations and Loads No StandardWasatch County & Summit CountySite visit to observe land disturbances. Possible source may be gravel pit. Work with developers and agencies to correct problem.
