APA Needs 4 Components Who – the author responsible for the content (can be a person or an organization) When – when the content was created What – the title of the content Where – where the content can be found Books need: City/state of publication and Publisher Articles need: journal title, volume/issue numbers, pages, and DOI Websites need: URL

Citing an Article - WHO All authors are listed with their last name first There are no first or middle names in APA—only initials If there is more than one author, list them in order with commas separating them, and an ampersand (&) before the last author

Article titles are listed plainly (no quotation marks or italics) Only capitalize the first word, the first word of the subtitle (after the : colon) and any proper nouns End the title with a period.
