3 Skills, abilities, and talents In this job you need to be able to have free time. In this job you need to be able to have free time. You need experience with animals and might want to like them. 5 What do you do at work Well there are different levels of veterinarian. Mainly at the vets office. Now if I decided to work with farm animals I would usually be on the farm. Or in water if decided to work dolphins, seals, and whales.

6 Education and Training You need a bachelors degree. 4 years of college. After 4 years of college you take a test and get a license. Finally a 2 year internship.

7 Salary The middle half of all vets earned between $56,450 and $94,880 in 2006. The lowest-paid 10 percent earned less than $43,530 a year. The highest-paid 10 percent earned more than $133,150.
