BIG STORMS CAN BE SCARY. STRONG WINDS ARE LOUD. POUNDING RAIN FALLS. STORMS CAN CAUSE HARM.

YOU SHOULD PLAN AHEAD. FIND SAFE PLACES AT HOME. YOU CAN PUT WÁTER IN BOTTLES. YOU CAN FREEZE FOOD. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE CANDLES, TOO.

YOU CAN LEARN ABOUT A STORM THAT IS COMING. JUST LISTEN TO THE T.V. OR RADIO. EXPERTS WATCH THE PATH OF STORMS. NEWS REPORTERS WARN PEOPLE ABOUT BAD STORMS.

YOU CAN PREVENT PROBLEMS AT HOME. BRING TOYS AND PETS INSIDE. WIND CAN DAMAGE WINDOWS. SOME PEOPLE TAPE WINDOWS. TAPE MAKES THEM STRONGER.

YOU SHOULD NOT GO OUTSIDE. FIND A SAFE PLACE INSIDE. DON´T PLAY GAMES THAT USE ELECTRICITY. BEWARE OF COMPUTERS. DO NOT TALK ON THE PHONE.

LISTEN TO THE NEWS. REPORTERS WILL TELL YOU WHEN IT IS SAFE TO GO OUTSIDE. STAY AWAY FROM DAMAGED TREES.
