16 EXPLANATIONS  Why I chose Richard Avedon  I have admired Avedon’s work for years. His ability to capture motion and feeling is extraordionary. His work is crucial to modern day fashion photography.  Why people like Richard Avedon  When you see Avedon’s portraits you feel like you realy know the subject of the photograph. I believe people appreciate the feeling of when you look at a portrait you aren’t simply seeing someone posing, but being themselves.  How Avedon’s work could be used in other contemporary media  Avedon’s work could be used in many ways. It could be used in collages or even film.
