EXPLANATIONS Why I chose Richard Avedon I have admired Avedon’s work for years. His ability to capture motion and feeling is extraordionary. His work is crucial to modern day fashion photography. Why people like Richard Avedon When you see Avedon’s portraits you feel like you realy know the subject of the photograph. I believe people appreciate the feeling of when you look at a portrait you aren’t simply seeing someone posing, but being themselves. How Avedon’s work could be used in other contemporary media Avedon’s work could be used in many ways. It could be used in collages or even film.
