4 SAAC Mission Statement “We work to represent the best interests of all student- athletes by presenting their concerns to the FHSAA, thereby developing initiatives for future improvement. Our goal is to promote the advancement of sportsmanship and integrity by fostering an ethical, safe, competitive environment on and off the field.”

8 Sunshine State Spirit Showdown Selecting a Winner! Discussion led by Quinten Ershock Objective: Watch and review video submissions to decide on a winner of the first ever Sunshine State Spirit Showdown Discussion led by Quinten Ershock Objective: Watch and review video submissions to decide on a winner of the first ever Sunshine State Spirit Showdown

12 Sunshine State Spirit Showdown Your Task – Selecting a Winner Rate videos in each distinct category on a 1 – 5 rating scale 1 being low, 5 being high To keep the contest fair between large schools and small schools, fan votes will be divided by school population and only used to enhance the score provided by the SAAC evaluation Fan vote formula Social Media Fan votes divided by 2012-2013 School Population then multiplied by 100 Fan vote will be added to the SAAC overall score Winner will receive banner and plaque from FHSAA at a pep rally hosted by winning school
