Man is an inseparable part

3 POLLUTION Man utilizes and changes the environment
Most of the inventions of man lead to pollution

4 PROTECTION Environment must be free from pollution
Protection is everybody’s responsibility Especially students and educated people

5 How ? Self control Awareness programme Courage to respond

6 Why students? Students are the future citizens and the best agents
Teachers words-put into practice They make their parents to obey Brunda’s project

9 ACHIEVEMENTS No plastic lunch boxes
We could bring a drastic change in the attitude of our school students 10 papers have been presented in the lake 2006 symposium

10 CONCLUSION Every school should have an eco-club and plan their activities to bring awareness among children to protect environment

Eco friendly cultural and religious festival Rain water harvesting A garden of medicinal plants

12 THANK YOU I thank the Sahyadri Eco-club members of our school because their questions have led me to think and prompt them to take up the task of monitoring the environment and I thank TVR for establishing the Sahyadri Eco club.
