Funding and Data Program Approval Requirements Section II Program Approval: 2.00 General Procedures & Requirements All active programs are required to meet annual VE-135 student enrollment and follow-up reporting requirements. This reporting is required for both program renewals and CTE funding.

Data Collection Website (VE-135/130) The web based reporting system for documenting all students enrolled in a CTE program, including middle school, high school, or postsecondary level. ********** Credentialed teacher data also collected in the VE-130 section of the same website.

VE-135/130 Website Where you report student data https://ve135.cccs.edu Website accounts are by school within a district. Login accounts are assigned by CCCS. Each school having an approved MS program must have a designated data contact.

VE-135 Student Data Data Fast Facts: – Report enrollment data annually. – Only enrollment data is required for MS level programs. Follow-up data is not required. – All CCCS approved MS programs active for the current school year should report student enrollment. – Next deadline for SY14-15 is July 30, 2015. The enrollment deadline will be July 30, 2016 for programs approved for school year 15-16.

VE-135 Student Data Which students to report? Any student who took a course listed in the middle school program approval documentation. One record per student, per CTE program.

VE-135 Data Attributes SASID (also called RITS ID, State ID, CDE ID)— is the 10 digit state assigned public education ID Name DOB Gender Program Information (which MS CTE program is this) School Information (which school is the program approved at)

VE-130 Active Teacher Data Teacher Data Fast Facts: – Report teacher data annually. – Only credentialed teachers should be reported ( data is not tied to credentialing system ). – All CCCS approved MS programs active for the current school year should report teacher data. – Update teacher data each fall and edit as needed throughout school year. – Data will also be listed on the CTA funding website to claim instructor reimbursement.

VE-130 Data Attributes Name DOB (needed to reduce creation of duplicate records) Work Email Program Information (which MS CTE program they teach) School Information (which school is the program approved at)

Program Approval Renewals Program approvals renewed every 5 years after initial approval. Renewal evaluation will look at VE-135 enrollment reported. Criteria for another MS renewal is active enrollment reported for the program.

Action Step For You When you receive an MS program approval— Contact CCCS to set up a VE-135 account!
