We want to prevent this from happening

Common Badminton Racket Materials Wood: Heavy, Stiff Steel: Heavy, Not Durable over long time periods Aluminum: Lighter than steel, Corrosion Resistant Carbon Fiber: Extremely light and resilient, resistant to thermal expansion. 5 Force vs. Displacement

Observations Full Carbon had the highest max force of all the materials at 57lbs. Full Carbon and High Modulus Graphite both had the same slope of Force/Displacement Both Full Carbon and High Modulus Graphite approached their breaking point without much plastic deformation Steel plastically deformed with very little force.

Technological Advances in Badminton Titanium mesh: * inserted at 10 and 2 o’clock position of racket head * added support that relieves impact force * reinforce overall area Developed by Yonex, Ti Mesh fibres are 2.5 times harder and 2.3 times heavier than graphite. As a result, Ti Mesh racquets have greater resistance to the enormous twisting forces generated at impact and a mass ideally balanced for increased face stability and a faster head speed.

Yonex Nanoscience Model 30% More impact resistance 10% More Durability 5% More Power

Racket Features  Positioning of the string holes will relieve impact force so string tension will be longer lasting. It eliminates stress loading and fatigue of the string.  "ENERGY CHAIN" tensions the strings on the chain-shaped grommet hole which is smoother than the ordinary one, and greatly decrease contact energy-loss. The system creates a complete chain-like unity--frame with a much more compact contact, thus saves up more energy than ordinary rackets in the contact with the shuttle and transmit the energy to the shuttles which make it fly faster and powerfully. Appeared was a complete unity integrating frame stability and string durability. The result is that you can smash a shuttle easily with an energizing, tensioning and powerful racket.  The use of oval-shaped or isometric shape (square head) of racket head.  Positioning of the string holes will relieve impact force so string tension will be longer lasting.
