yajie01@live.cn 1.Family Reunion [ ˈ fæm ə li ri ˈ junj ə n] In the Spring Festival, also known as the Chinese New Year, family members always get together for a family reunion and share a meal. 2.Couplet [ ˈ k ʌ pl ɪ t] A couplet is a pair of lines in poetry, which adhere to certain rules. Couplets are usually seen on the door frames of the front entrances of people's homes. 3. Dragon Dance [ ˈ dræ ɡ ə n dæns] The dragon dance is performed by a team of dancers who maneuver a long, flexible dragon figure using poles positioned at regular intervals along the length of the dragon. 4. Dumplings [ ˈ d ʌ mpl ɪ ŋs] Dumplings are balls of dough cooked and eaten during the Chinese Spring Festival. Read and Follow Me.
