Wekiva Parkway and Protection Act Land Acquisition Authorized the Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority to construct and finance the Wekiva Parkway and an associated connector road. Authorized OOCEA to acquire land to provide buffer areas along the Parkway corridor. This must completed no later than December 31, 2010. Open Space Policy 1.3.6 (third paragraph) Open Space Policy 1.3.6 (third paragraph) An analysis of soils shall be performed by a qualified professional to determine the location of most effective recharge areas, considered Type “A” Hydrologic soils described by the NRCS Soil Survey Maps.
