3 2014 FOUNDATION FUNDING Spendable Earnings

4 2014 Annual Fund contributions divided: 50% District Designated Fund (DDF) 50% World Fund with 5% earmarked for administrative support 3-year investment cycle Transforms contributions into grants Allows local control of how DDF is allocated SHARE SYSTEM

5 2014 SHARE SYSTEM EFFECTIVE 1 JULY 2015

7 2014 District Designated Fund – Allocated by districts – Directed by district-level Rotarians – Used locally or internationally – Spent on Foundation grants and programs World Fund – Allocated by Trustees – Used by Rotarians worldwide – Can act as a match – Spent on Foundation grants and programs ALLOCATED FUNDING

8 2014 SHARE PROCESS Unused DDF rolls forward to the next year; districts notified by October 2015-16 2011-12 2012-13 2013-14 2014-15 Unused DDF is calculated; districts notified in May Funds Raised Funds Spent
