Habitat Usually found near mountain sides or beside rivers Almost everywhere in Africa Mostly nocturnal Ground and in trees Often hide their food in trees

Eating Habit Don’t need water because the liquid in their preys body is enough When hunting must watch for predators Hunt little animals like birds and big animals like kudu and springbok

Appearance Male 60-80 pounds Female leopard 50-70 pounds Live up to 20 years old

Behavior and Other Interesting Facts Baby leopards are normally born in groups of 2 and 4 Cubs open their eyes after ten days Yellow/Orange with black spots or white with black spots
