PGN Training (P4) Accomplishment for 2011-2013 targets 6,230 out of 6,634 barangays (94%) 24,831 out of 26,536 participants (94%) 858 out of 894 batches (96%) All target provinces with 100% or more accomplishment except for provinces in region 3 and Cavite Action: Validate with Region 4A if funds for Cavite were obligated; Region 3 to validate availability of training materials in target barangays with no training and targets for 2014 3

PGN Training in ARMM Php 11,014,000 was released in 2013 for 3 rd tranche payment per MOA 97% liquidation with a balance of Php261,871.03 25% of targets (batches) was reported to be accomplished in 2013 Funds for 4 th tranche in the amount of Php7,506,200 being requested but not included in the 2014 programming Action requested: ARMM to review doable targets for 2014 as basis for fund release by end of August and full liquidation of cash advance 7

Training for model barangays Action requested: – Regions 3 and ARMM to submit training schedule by end of August – Regions 1, CAR, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 and ARMM to request fund release at least 6 weeks before the training but not later than end of October – Submit training documentation reports with results of training evaluation within 1 month from conduct of training 8

PGN Training Monitoring Action requested: – Submit monitoring reports by end of August – Regions 3, CAR, 4B, 5, 7, 8, 9, 11 and CARAGA with no request for release of funds to date to advise if will still request so that funds can be programmed accordingly by 22 August – Region 4b, 5, 9, 7 8 and CAR to request; Region 3 will not request – CARAGA, region 4a to verify – Region 1, 11, NCR, 12, to request 9

Regional NPM and BNS training Only Region 1 has conducted the NPM training and CAR conducted the BNS training to date Action requested: – ARMM to submit training schedule, request for release if it will pursue training by end of August – Regions 3, 4A, 4B, 7, 8 and CARAGA to submit 2013 training documentation report for NPM/BNS training while regions 3, 10 and NCR to submit documentation report for 2013 BNS training by end of October 10

Training of Trainers on Nutrition in Emergencies Objective is to provide additional pool of trainers on nutrition in emergencies at the national and regional levels Participants will be able to: 1. Demonstrate competence in assessing nutritional status; conducting nutrition surveillance; administering standards and appropriate nutrition interventions for emergencies and disasters; and monitoring and evaluating activities conducted and services rendered; 11

ToT on NiEm Participants will be able to: 2.Demonstrate competence in planning, leading, controlling the implementation, and monitoring and evaluation of NiEm interventions and activities; 3.Demonstrate skills in facilitating the formulation of a local NiEm plan; 4.Implement a capacity building program/activity; and 5.Demonstrate proactive attitude towards nutrition in emergencies and disasters. 12
