3 MATH EXPECTATIONS: *Complete class work and homework; math requires practice, and both are essential. *Check web pages for due dates/class activities. *Please check and sign student agenda’s daily. RESOURCES: -Odyssey -OAS -The Internet -Parent Portal -Teacher Website -Tutoring from 4-5 on Weds. - www.gadoe.org (CRCT study guides) -Mr. Trisler’s school web page: homework, warm-up’s, EQ’s, PowerPoint Presentations are all posted. If your child can successfully complete the warm-ups and answer the EQ’s that is a good indication that they will do well on the CRCT. -Mr. Trisler and Ms. Lassiter have their individual homework for their classes posted on their school web pages.

7 Reading Subject Area/Class Expectations Read nightly toward 25 book standard Encourage your child to take AR Tests after completion of a book. Check websites for due dates/class activities The standards are posted on Ms. Calhoun’s website. Students should always bring a book to class to read (no magazines). Read with your child and ask them questions about what they’ve read. Please check and sign student agenda’s daily

Class work is important as the students receive the majority of their instruction at school through various media.
