Station 3 Read p. 387 of Georgia and the American Experience aloud with your group. Student groups should read the section Causes of the Depression on p. 388. Using the information from this section, students will identify seven causes and seven effects. Station 4 EQ: What was life like for Georgians in the 1920s? (Turn to pp. 380-386 in the textbook and examine the pictures to answer the above question

Station 5 Students will work in groups of four. Read pp. 380 – 386 of Georgia and the American Experience. Assign each member of your group a topic on which to develop and create a mini skit. – The New Woman – Music – Life in the Roaring Twenties – The Destruction of King Cotton – The Great Migration – A Special Day – Crime **Note: It is not recommended to have students create a skit on “The Klan Strengthens”. This section should be discussed as a class.** The skit should be short and concise. Students may play the role of inanimate objects. Students may gather additional information from other sources made available by the teacher.
