What Next? Mrs. Carter will conduct pre- registration in 8 th Grade classes during the next week or two. Students are to bring their respective pre-registration forms home and get them signed by a parent/guardian, then return their forms to the counseling department on the date designated by Mrs. Carter. You are not guaranteed your elective course requests, as many factors go into consideration for scheduling purposes (number of teachers, number of students signing up for or taking a course, whether prerequisites have been met, teacher denial of approval for course based on students’ academic difficulties or weak academic/low grade achievement histories. However, every effort will be made to give you the class schedule for which you ask.
