In this session, you will learn how to write a connected-examples body paragraph that uses your chosen evidence. Literary essayists use multiple types of body paragraphs to support their claims. One type is the connected-examples body paragraph.

3. Session 8: Connected Examples Active Engagement Examine the handout Connected Examples Body Paragraph Review the steps for writing a Connected Examples Body Paragraph. As we read the model Connected Examples body paragraph identify which sentences fit with each step. Underline and label the steps as you find them in the model paragraph.
