The Iraq War Goals set by the American government to be reached in the Iraq War; Achieved or not?

Goals  To immediately deliver humanitarian support to the displaced and to many needy Iraqi citizens.  To secure Iraq's oil fields and resources, which belong to the Iraqi people.

Humanitarian Support  America first to give aid  Total of 5.355,1 million US dollars given  Obstacles had to be overcome to supply aid  Still probably 40 % Iraqi’s in need of aid  Despite this need, withdrawal continues

Goal achieved?  Partly, humanitarian aid given, but not enough

To secure oil fields  Oil is biggest source of income in Iraq.  Some wells set on fire, if there had been further destruction to resources, consequences would have been horrible.  America was expected to secure the wells  Oil secured by selling most to Western countries.

Goal achieved?  Yes, but by selling to Western countries, not by giving the resources to Iraq.
