4. Chairs & Equipment  Leave your chair where it is, no rolling around on wheels  Do not play with or step on cords  Do not write on desks, computers, etc  Avoid getting out of seats

5. Appropriate Use Agreement  You may not:  Send or display offensive messages or pictures  Use obscene language  Harass, insult, or attack others  Damage computers, computer systems, or computer networks  Violate copyright laws

6. Appropriate Use Agreement  Use another’s password  Trespass in another’s folders, work, or files  Intentionally waste limited resources  Employ the network for commercial purposes

7. Appropriate Use Agreement  Among other things, this means you may not  Access the internet without teacher permission  Use the network for personal email, instant messaging, or chat rooms  Download music or video using the network (in charter agreement)

8. Appropriate Use Agreement  Violation #1: Network use restricted for up to 3 weeks (No internet!)  Violation #2: Network use restricted for up to 8 weeks (No internet!)  Violation #3: Network use restricted for remainder of the school year (No internet!)  Above are district violations

9. Expectations  Walk into the classroom quietly and begin journaling.  Work hard  Understand meaningfulness of material be taught  Show respect to everyone  If you have a planner, write in it

10. Expectations  Raise your hand if you have a question  Media room/Library expectations  Journaling/Keyboarding  bathroom breaks  No candy, food or drinks  No hats  Must wear badge around necks – displaying in the front

11. Typical day  Keyboard warm-up – 5 minutes (10% of grade)  Vocab review when you are done typing  Demonstration  Work time  If you finish early, enrichment activities will be provided to enhance educational experience
