3 Grace Given John 6:35-40 Man’s Inability Romans 3:10,11 Moral life – “no one righteous” Intellectual realm – “no one who understands” Sphere of the will – “no one who seeks God”

4 Grace Given John 6:35-40 Man’s Inability Certainly, anyone who wills may come! But who wills to come? No one unless they are chosen of God! But who is chosen of God? Those whom the Father has already drawn Those whom the Holy Spirit has already regenerated – Titus 3:4-6
5
5 Grace Given John 6:35-40 God’s Electing Grace First, all are in God’s hands. We all deserve death, destruction, and separation from a Holy and Just God! God gives some to His Son for salvation. So what of the rest the Father does not give? “Sinners in the hands of an Angry God”
6
6 Grace Given John 6:35-40 God’s Electing Grace Second, there is a great transaction. Some have been handed over by the Father to the Son in His mercy! Bible speaks about this transaction. John 17:2,6,9,24 Ephesians 1:3-6

7 Grace Given John 6:35-40 Ephesians 1:3-6 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, 4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love 5 he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.
8
8 Grace Given John 6:35-40 Mark 13:20 20 And if the Lord had not cut short the days, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, whom he chose, he shortened the days. Acts 13:48 48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed.

9 Grace Given John 6:35-40 Colossians 3:12 12 Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, 1 Thessalonians 1:4,5a 4 For we know, brothers loved by God, that he has chosen you, 5 because our gospel came to you not only in word, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction
10
10 Grace Given John 6:35-40 2 Thessalonians 2:13 13 But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the first fruits to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth.
11
11 Grace Given John 6:35-40 2 Timothy 1:8,9 8 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, nor of me his prisoner, but share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God, 9 who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began
12
12 Grace Given John 6:35-40 Titus 1:1-3 1 Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, for the sake of the faith of God's elect and their knowledge of the truth, which accords with godliness, 2 in hope of eternal life, which God, who never lies, promised before the ages began 3 and at the proper time manifested in his word through the preaching with which I have been entrusted by the command of God our Savior;
13
13 Grace Given John 6:35-40 1 Peter 2:9,10 9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are God's people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
14
14 Grace Given John 6:35-40 God’s Electing Grace Third, the chosen of God in eternity past has effect in the present with us. Fourth, there is no exception in these verses. All shall come! What an encouragement!
15
15 Grace Given John 6:35-40 Conclusions God is Sovereign in everything, including our salvation! He is and I am NOT ! Our question should not be “What must I do?” but instead “What has He done?” Are you thinking from a mindset that truly believes “all whom He has chosen will come”?
16
16 Grace Given John 6:35-40 1 Peter 2:9,10 9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are God's people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
17
17 Grace Given John 6:35-40 Application Are you being faithful to the call of 1 Peter 2:9,10, proclaiming God’s truths while leaving the rest to His promises?
18
18 Grace Given John 6:35-40 1 Corinthians 15:58 58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
