History Where were you on 9/11/01?

Intended Purpose In direct response to 9/11, Customs & Border Protection (CBP) partnered with the trade community to create a program to protect the U.S. against acts of terrorism. In November 2001, Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) was launched with seven companies enrolled.

The Future In the future, look for C-TPAT to grow and incorporate all types of safety, including Partners in Protection (PIP), product safety, food safety, etc.
