According to our survey, 73% of pet owners in the Unites States report having to refill their pet’s food bowl. 61% of the people found it time consuming and 65% of the people found it annoying. 71% reported that an adjustable motorized food dispenser would make refilling their pet food bowl easier. ∗ We created a survey to find out what kind of problems people have with their pet food bowl and how they would like to see them fixed. ∗ Research ∗ There are 73 million dogs and 90 million cats in the Unites States. 63% of all households own a pet. “In the United States alone, dog owners spent over $8.5 billion on commercially manufactured dog food in 2007.” In 2013, pet owners spent 55.3 billion dollars on their pets.
