2.  My family and I went to Australia in 2013 for summer vacation. It is the furthest country I have ever been. There are a lot of beautiful visit attractions. We didn’t go to Canberra which is the biggest city in Australia, but we went to Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney. I think it was really fun and interesting.

4.  After landing, we went to South Banklands in Brisbane as our first stop. It’s really big and there is a landmark of “KAOHSIUNG PLACE” in that park. According to our tour guide, KAOHSIUNG and BRISBANE are sister cities. I hope there will be a big Central Park like South Banklands in Taipei in the future. Besides, we went to Gold Coast and Dream World too. It was raining when we went there but we still had a lot of fun especially in Dream World. I was very excited when I held a kangazoo in my arms.

6.  In Melbourne, we went to PHILIPS ISLAND to see Little BLUE PENGUINS. It was very cold while it still attracted many visitors to go to the beach to see BLUE PENGUINS. The BLUE PENGUIN is the smallest species of penguin in the world which is only around 30cm tall. We saw father penguins going back home from the ocean very bravely. They were really cute, and it was a good and special experience for me.

8.  In Sydney, we visited The Three Sisters in BLUE MOUNTAINS. The scenery was very impressive & spectacular. The temperature was only 3 CELSIUS while it was dry with low humidity so we didn’t feel very cold. The hotel we stayed in BLUE MOUNTAINS was very special and because Australia is in the south earth, it was winter around their Christmas time. The hotel decorated a huge Christmas tree in the center of the lobby to celebrate Christmas which made the hotel full of joy.

10.  It was a good experience to go abroad. I really want to go to another country this summer though I know it will spend a lot of money to have a journey. I think it is worth it to visit other countries as family trips. I hope I can visit a country which I’ve never been every year. Of course, it’s better as a family trip.
