What is it? A Knowledge Hunt is like a treasure or scavenger hunt online. It sends students to pre selected web sites to find the answers to specific questions. Effective Knowledge Hunts have 5-15 links (dependent on students’ age and internet experience), a question for each link, and a culminating question that requires synthesis.
3
Why should we use it? Highly interactive Allows searching with boundaries The students have to bring together ideas from multiple web sites teach them to focus on the main points of each site.
