1. In Österåker and Stockholm we use our water to things like waterskiing, canoeing, fishing, boats, waterscooters and of course bathing. 2. Erosion There are different kinds of eriosion for example, winderosion and watererosion. We’re going to absorb all facts about watererosion. It happens when wave hits the shore, it makes it easier for solid materials such as sand and loam to move around. Watererosion means that the shore rubs and shapes after how the wave hits the landscape. At first, all the solid material is mouldering and afterwards all the sand is transported away.

3. There are many people who wants to live near the water. This made them build houses around the beaches, which resulted in the fact that beaches were modified and exploited. This has also a great impact for the life conditions of plants and animals, both on land and in the water. But it also affects general public to be allowed to walk on the beaches. The year 1952 the goverment made the beach protection law to protect the beaches from exploitation, but not if there is some special reason that need to build on the beach. The reason that no one can build something on the beach is because that the general public is gonna have a chance to be on the beach and to protect the life of the beach that is dependent of the beaches. 4. Disadvantages There are several disadvantages in the ways we use water in Österåker, here’s a few of those. In Österåker we use a lot of motorboats and waterscooters. It happens that people drive too fast with their boats and scooters in narrow water passes, which leads to waves. These waves contribute to the erosion of our coasts. These vehicles are also very noisy and disturb both the people living close to the coasts and the animal life.
