5 Example 6.3 Read the numbers: 4165.0162 7108000.21578

6 Adding/Subtracting Decimal Numbers just like with whole numbers, except we line up the decimal points instead of the last digit carry with addition borrow with subtraction

7 Example 6.4 Simplify: 6.231 + 0.044 6.231 – 0.044

8 Multiplying Decimal Numbers multiply as usual: line up last digit and multply then, add the number of decimal places in both numbers to find the the position of the decimal point in the product

9 Example 6.5 Multiply:4.12 x 63.2
