Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19. But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 1 Pet. 1:18-19

7. “Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.” Acts 20:28 Acts 2:47 - saved are added to the church

8. “13. Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14. In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:” Col. 1:13-14 Which church did he purchase with his blood ?  The one the Lord added the saved to in Acts 2:47  The church in existence on the day of Pentecost  He purchased only one church

9. Heb. 10:4 “For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.” Heb. 2:9 “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.”

10. For the old covenant and the new covenant “ so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many ” Heb. 9:28 “For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.” Heb.10:14

11. “And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more”

12. Rev. 1:5 “…washed us from our sins in his own blood.” 1 Pet. 1:18-19 - redeemed by the precious blood of Christ Not a physical contact with the blood  Belief = No  Repentance = No  Confession = No

13. It is at Baptism Romans 6:3-5 “Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?” Gal. 3:27 “For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.” “Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth ” 1 Pet. 1:22

15. It was God like He was like man He was God’s own Son

16. It paid the debt incurred by human sin ! His was the blood of a perfect sacrifice !
