3 Why do you want to become a U.S. citizen? I want to move my family here. I want a government job. I want social benefits. I want to vote. I want a U.S. passport. I want to be on a jury.

4 What is the capital of your state? Sacramento is the capital of California.

5 Who was the first president of the U.S.? George Washington was the first president of the United States.

6 What is the capital of the United States? Washington D.C. is the capital of the United States.

7 Who wrote the Declaration of Independence? Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence.

8 What is a promise you make when you become a U.S. citizen? To obey the laws of this country. To be loyal to the United States. To go to jury duty. To protect or defend this country. To be drafted in wartime.
