3 Slide 3 - Specimen Whatever you want to look at under a microscope. (e.g. hair, blood, cells, insects, etc.)

4 Slide 4 - Preparing Microscope Slides: 1. Grab a clean glass slide. 2. Place specimen on middle of slide. 3. Put one drop Iodine (Blue Dye) on top of specimen. 4. Cover specimen with a cover slip. Specimen Iodine

5 Slide 5 - Cover Slip Purpose of a cover slip is to cover the specimen and iodine so that the objective lens does not get wet. Specimen + Iodine

6 Slide 6 - Microscope: Eye Piece Lens = 10 x Low Power Objective = 4x High Power Objective = 10x
