2. Login to EdSoft www.irvingisd.net  Teachers  EdSoftwww.irvingisd.net Click Here to go to EdSoft Click on picture Login with your USERNAME and PASSWORD for EdSoft (I am sure you remember how to do all this.) (Please e-mail me if you have problems.)

3. Student Tracking System

4. Click on Class Name Choose the classes whose numbers end with “2A” – the ones that end in “1A” are FIRST SEMESTER classes.

5. First… Click on Sec. Diagnostic

6. Then… RIGHT Click on Sec. Diagnostic

7. Add QB Assignment

8. Choose Assessment from Dropdown Menu List of assessment names is provided on the next two slides….

Available Assessments (p. 1) ENGLISH/LA –05-06 SE2 ENG I –05-06 SE2 ENG II –05-06 SE2 ENG III –05-06 SE2 ENG IV MATHEMATICS –05-06 SE2 Algebra 1 –05-06 SE2 Algebra 2 –05-06 SE2 Geometry Choose the assessment from the dropdown menu that matches the class you have selected. Make sure you are choosing assignments with the prefix 05-06 SE2.

Available Assessments (p. 2) SOCIAL STUDIES –05-06 SE2 USHIST –05-06 SE2 WGEO –05-06 SE2 WHIST SCIENCE –05-06 SE2 CHEM –05-06 SE2 IPC –05-06 SE2 BIO –05-06 SE2 PHY Choose the assessment from the dropdown menu that matches the class you have selected. Make sure you are choosing assignments with the prefix 05-06 SE2.

11. Choose “Major Grades” as the Scoring Category

12. Choose “SEC. DIAGNOSTIC” as Grading Period

13. Click to “Select All” Students

14. Click floppy disk icon to Save Then you’re going to have to press “Cancel” – it’s weird, but go with it!

15. Lather, Rinse, Repeat… Go through the same process for all classes that are required to take the District semester exam Core subject area classes that are NOT required to participate: –Any Honors, GT, Pre-AP, or AP section of a core subject course –AP Biology, Anatomy & Physiology –Math Models, Pre-Calculus, College Algebra, Calculus –Government, Economics
