4 What made you interested in web design/development,database administration and online marketing? -After Berklee she played some gigs for a while. -The web was just becoming popular. And she got interested in it. -Also the changing business world.

5 what are the courses you took outside your professional music degree from berklee ? She got a company that paid her fees so she could learn from I.D.G (international data group) -She studied HTML on her own. -She studied Database at Oracle. -At Northeastern she studied web server. And at Boston university Database development

6 How many years did it take it you to learn all the extra courses? Two to three years As more tools come out, she learnt of the new technologies.

7 What do you enjoy the most in your career ? Seeing people who have never used the technology before start work on them and getting excited also about it.

8 What are the challenges that are likely to arise ? Technology changes quickly. Ability to choose the right software and focus on it. Staying on top of the changes. Updating ones self on new technologies and replacing the old ones.

9 Relevance of Information Technology in business ? Only a few business exist that do not need technology. It is necessary to have a technology driven skill. Understanding how technology works is important. On marketing, it has changed the whole marketing idea, emails are used to connect to customers.

10 Advice to prospective student wanting to go into the information technology world ? To understand basic computer language (code) eg HTML because it remains the same. Not to be overly focused on one software because it changes with time. The need to constantly update ones self. Have an understanding on how files are been optimized for web-either audio, videos or images.

11 Do you still play the bass guitar? Yes I do,though I was not playing it so much during my studies. But have resumed back at it.
