1. The Bible Speaks Plainly of Hell’s Torments!

2. Jesus Spake Often of Hell’s Torment  “The Son of Man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; and shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth” Matthew 13:41-42

3.  “So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, and shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth” Matthew 13:49-50 Matthew 13:49-50

4. Man May Discount Hell, but Can’t Escape  “Enter ye in the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be that go in thereat: because strait is the gate and narrow is the way that leadeth unto life, and few be there that find it: Matthew 7:13-14

5. Hell Is Prepared for Certain People “I go to prepare a place for you” John 14:3 “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all nations that forget God” Psalm 9:17

6.  “Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, depart from me, yea cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels” Matthew 25:41  “And these shall go away into everylasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal” Matthew 25:46

7. The Punishment of Hell is Amply Described  “Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth” Matthew 22:13  “And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever” Revelation 14:11

8.  “If thy hand offends thee, cut it off, it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, then having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched, where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched,  Mark 9: 43-48

9. Even Disciples Warned of Hell!  “And fear not them which kill the body, but are able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy soul and body in hell” Matthew 10:28

10.  “ And I say unto you, that many shall come from the east and the west, and sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven: but the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gashing of teeth” Matthew 8:11-12

11. The Greatest Tragedy: Lack of Warning  “Son of Man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. When I say unto the wicked, thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, the same man wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity: but thou has delivered thy soul. Ezekiel 3:17-19

12. Now Where Will You Spend Eternity?  “And to You who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not Gog, and obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and the glory of his power” 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9
