4 Construction: Wood Gears and Support System Gear ratio of 1:1.5 (determined by number of teeth) Plastic/Electronic Car The Challenges Overcoming and reducing friction caused by miniscule flaws in the gear teeth.

5 Conclusions: While gears are efficient, they have to be precise to work effectively. Torque is the major factor in our design for overcoming the static friction.
