TAU entered in various places. Manpower – Yan Benhammou++ (N. Guttman, N. Hod, E. Reinherz, A. Kreizel). Working on online Monitoring of TGC. Looking at Muon LVL2 Monitroing + TrigDiMuon with N. Panikashvili (Michigan) Looking into EF monitoring + introduction of MuGirl with S. Tarem (Technion) TAU monitoring activities summary

TGC Level-1 Trigger On-Line Monitoring Time line Jul 07: Beginning of work Aug 07: Install TomBox In the pit M4, Aug-Sep 07: No stable data stream M4.5, Sep-Oct 07: No stable data stream, problems with switch M5, Oct-Nov 07: Stable data stream !!! But… Allocation problems, partially working Nov 07: Fixed memory allocation problem, file_sampler works !!! M5.5, Nov-Dec 07: No stable data stream & Problems with network… 6 months total

All “flat” histograms can be obtained by running an existing.root file saved by OHP after each run (see next…)

Event Filter Monitoring Event Filter Status In the Event Filter (EF) In the Event Filter (EF): Moore is available (not good in low P T ) MuonBoy is not available MuGirl is not available Target is to implement MuGirl in the EF level: In collaboration with Shlomit, John and Julie
25
Event Filter Monitoring Status of current work Understand MuGirl Working on understanding the EF environment that is significantly different from the offline environment (looking at Moore) First test should be done in the technical run at the end of February
