College Transfer and Collaboration at York University York University is a leader in College-University Collaboration York has established a comprehensive block transfer credit policy in addition to 14 successful collaborative programs including BDesign program with Sheridan College and Collaborative Nursing programs with Seneca and Georgian Colleges Through this framework, York admits 2,600 students per year as credit transfer or into joint/collaborative programs. In total, almost 8,200 college transfer and joint degree students are enrolled at York University

Block Transfer Credit Policy York’s policy provides for a predetermined number of credits/courses or course waivers based on an number of factors: college program alignment years completed This transfer credit is offered as a matter of policy without special application required and without formal articulation agreements with the colleges. 5
